Painter. I have always drawn and painted on paper. Combining urban landscapes of invented architectures with fragments of the body such as torsos, legs, arms, feet, eyes, and mouths; I work with lyrical representations that are theatrical scenes where I describe the day-to-day. In these drawings-scenarios, everything is united through what I would call “gestures and elements of the drawing”; such as a caress, a touch, a step, a kiss, a vomit, a bite, a push: a person. Bright yellow, a metaphor for darkness, illuminates part of my most recent drawings in the form of electric rays, where I like to walk through a forest, a house or a tunnel.
