Photographer. His principal genres are portraiture and urban landscapes. Rivas’ portraits are generally frontal shots and outstanding in both their manner of capturing the subject’s personality and in their technical skill and lighting. In his landscapes, which are captured under natural light, the human presence is absent; the spirit of the place shows through in silence.
