Isaac Pérez Vicente

Galicia, 1955

Multimedia artist. Artist working in a variety of different media such as printmaking, painting, ceramics, graphic design, sound and film/video. His interest in language and art and the metamorphosis of images and use of different means of expression led to the creation of Umbra, an imaginary machine for generating images and texts from others and a system of relations based on three fundamental images: the toy soldier and his shadow, the roll of thread, and the carpenter’s measuring tape.
