The sculptural group is based on a chance discovery during a walk: an old broken
cement pipe that blended in with the natural elements of its surroundings. For Giró, sculpture is what you stumble upon when you are in a state of maximum alertness and perception and which activates a series of reflections that go beyond the work itself. The upheaval caused by the period of the pandemic calls for a break with the structures of meaning that we had taken for granted until now, and justifies the change of order in the phrase that gives the piece its name and meaning.
