The discovery in the street of an informative volume on the history of art served as a pretext to generate this work, which contrasts the formal and material options contained in the book with the constructivist formalisations developed in the programme of contemporary sculpture, which the volume does not include despite
being published in those years. The relations of interior space, exterior volume, geometric configuration and material qualities of the sculpture that serves as a support present the counterpoint to the material properties and content of the book itself. And its title, which appeals directly to the reader, becomes an ironic appeal for a sculptural experience that questions the categorisations of the classical tradition of art history.
